DIAGNOSIS TIPS, not just for Addison's

Diagnosis Stories

Here you'll find stories that are probably similar to yours.  If you are struggling to be diagnosed with Addison's Disease and your story is similar to one or more that you see here, print the story out and take it to your doctor!  Point out the similarities.  Use every resource you have.

The road to diagnosis can be long and tough.  Educate yourself, if you're told there is nothing wrong with you or you are depressed and you know there is more to it, don't settle for his/her answer.  Make another appointment, bring documentation, discuss your concerns and the reasons why you think there is something wrong.  Don't settle a life that is less than it could be.  Fight!
